New employees bring varied skill sets and expertise to award-winning construction takeoff and cost estimating software company, The Estimating Edge.
June 15, 2018—BOYNTON BEACH, FL – The Estimating Edge (www.estimatingedge.com), a construction estimating software company that’s been in business over 30 years, announced today that it has added the following new employees to the team, Steve Manning, Training and Support Specialist; and Luis Irene II, Training and Support Specialist; MaryJean Schliessman, Office Administrator.
“Steve’s expertise and knowledge in training, customer support, combined with his knowledge of The EDGE® software solution over the years, is a paramount reason we are excited to have him back on the team. Also, Lu’s customer support experience, alongside his construction background, will be a huge benefit in joining The Estimating Edge,” says Director of Customer Success, Ryan Bogert.
Steve Manning
Steve has returned to The Estimating Edge team this year as a training and support specialist. Prior to his return, he was working with an existing The EDGE® Estimator client in the roofing industry as an estimator. Before this time, he worked for 5 years at Metro MLS of Southeastern Wisconsin as a training specialist and software tester for their FlexMLS software solution for real estate agents. Steve also has a tech background in Warehouse Logistics where he spent 8 years with Catalyst International, now known as Red Prairie.
Luis Irene II
Luis, known as “Lu,” a graduate of the University of New York College at Fredonia, brings a background of technology and construction to The Estimating Edge. Prior to joining The EDGE® team, Lu owned his own business, and also worked as a business analyst for a tech company, a marketing office for a construction company, and a business growth advisor and consultant in real estate.

MaryJean Schliessman
MaryJean, known as “MJ,” was born and raised in Long Island, NY, and moved to Florida in 1986. Prior to moving over to The Estimating Edge, MJ has worked in various administration roles in her career in fields, such as real estate, law offices, title companies, builders, and financial companies. She is extremely versatile and is also a notary public.
