SQL Won’t Start

Microsoft© SQL – Won’t Start

If you are having constant problems and issues with SQL not starting which in turn can cause “Named Pipes Provider Error…” to crop up.
Go to your computer management console.

• Click Start | Run | Services.msc
• Maximize the screen
• Scroll down until you locate SQL Server(TheEDGE)
• Right click and select Properties
• Click the Recovery Tab

Set the First, Second and Subsequent failures to “Restart the Service.”
