How To Use Snap

Snap:

The EDGE keeps track of beginning and ending points of lines. Snap is a CAD™ function that will lock one point over another for the purpose of creating accurate intersections. When Snap is turned On and you move your cursor toward and end point when it becomes near enough a blue rectangle will appear and the cross hairs will jump and lock on the end point. Like all of the other icons on the Drawing screen Snap is an On/Off toggle switch. It is either on or off.

The example above has been enlarged greatly to give you a better view of the Snap feature. The heavy black line is the line we are snapping from. As the cursor is moved close to the end point the blue snap rectangle appears and the cross hairs lock on the end point of the line.
