At startup of TE, get a message about access denied to EDGE.TMP file. In this case, user had done a system restore due to a virus. Job file was not showing close icon on recap and other odd problems.


to fix, delete the EDGE.TMP file. The EDGE will re-create it when opening.


Or, the user receives an error message “can’t open edge.tmp, the system cannot find the file specified”

Reinstall The EDGE and select repair, or uninstall and reinstall
