How to Use Cut

Cut:

There are two ways to remove selections from a job or The EDGE. You can Cut them or Delete them. This topic deals with Cut and Cutting selections.

To cut something:
Mark the selection to be Cut. Select Edit | Cut from the menu bar, or click the Cut icon

By doing so, you will remove the selection(s) previously highlighted. The selection(s) are removed from the job, however, the cut selection(s) are moved to the clipboard and could be utilized somewhere else.
